Upper Onion Creek Campground is located about 35 minutes northeast of Moab, off Highway 128. A handful of 4WD roads are nearby, and there are good views of Castle Valley and the nearby Fisher Towers from the campground.

Upper Onion Creek Campground consists of 14 campsites. The sites are nothing special, but they make a decent place to call home for an evening. Four of these campsites are “walk in” meaning they are suitable only for tents and require a very short walk from the parking area. The remaining sites are suitable for trailers and RVs. There are no amenities here aside from vault toilets, not even drinking water. The campsites are first come, first serve.

Upper Onion Creek also offers two group sites, complete with plenty of space to camp as well as a nice covered area with picnic tables. These two sites are reservable, click here.
