Strangely enough, there are two Moss Glen Falls in the state of Vermont. The falls mentioned here are in Granville, right off of Route 100, which is a scenic byway running north-south through the center of Vermont's Green Mountains. Moss Glen Falls are maintained by the state of Vermont as part of the Granville Gulf Reservation. The falls cascade more than 80 feet over a rock outcropping. According to the book, New England Waterfalls, Moss Glen Falls is one of the top 40 waterfalls in New England.

The walk to the falls is a few hundred yards, making them a popular roadside attraction for travelers passing through. There are great views all around the base of the falls, including from a railed viewing platform that is ADA accessible. A lovely pool at the base of the falls is about 20 feet wide.

There is a smaller set of falls, known as Little Moss Glen Falls, right off of the trail before you get to the main attraction. These falls pale in comparison to Moss Glen Falls, boasting a thin cascade over a 50-foot drop, but they are still lovely to behold. Little Moss Glen Falls are particularly attractive if the main falls are crowded, especially during the weekends and throughout the summer and fall foliage season.
