Crystal Mountain Resort offers great terrain for skiing/snowboarding during the winter months. In one of its parking lots, B Lot, Crystal Mountain Resort allows RVs to park overnight for summer and winter excursions into the surrounding area. During the winter, wake up to beautiful winter scenery and the comforting sounds of avalanche explosives, a sign that the avalanche control team are up there making things safe. World-class skiing is just steps from your door.
The resort has 65 RV sites located along the west bank in Lot B. About half of the sites are dual 50/30 amp and 33 sites are 30 amp. RVs and trailers must be self-contained, as there is no water or sewer hook-ups and no dump on site. The closest dump station is in Enumclaw at Ron’s Auto Care Center ($10 dump fee) or the Sumner Sewage Treatment Plant (free).
Sites are first-come, first-served, and a host will assign sites to maximize space. Registration is required upon arrival using the envelopes and drop box if the host is not at the RV registration shack. There is no overnight RV parking in A, C, D, E, or F lots. There is a 14-day limit on overnight RV stays.
All tow vehicles and extra cars from the RVs must be parked in the overnight parking area along the south bank of B Lot in front of the wastewater treatment plant at no charge. You may not park across from your RV because the area needs to be clear for snow removal regularly. Failure to do so will result in a $100 locking boot removal fee.
Shuttles run throughout the day and pick you up right in front of the RV registration shack or at the Lot B sign. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times and must be picked up after. On busy, high-volume days, parking attendants may park a row of cars in front of the RVs, so plan on staying the entire day of check out as you are not guaranteed space to maneuver and pull out while B Lot is filled with day-use cars.
Holiday rates (typically Christmas, New Year's, MLK, and President's Day weekends) are slgihtly higher and sold in weekend blocks. Sites go on sale on a specific day and tend to sell out within the first 10 minutes. These are the only times you can reserve a site. Otherwise, sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You will need to check Crystal Mountain's Facebook page for dates and times sites will open up for reservations for such holiday weekends.
Crystal Mountain is also open during selected days throughout the summer and offers hiking, horseback rides, and gondola rides. RV parking is also available during such time with the same rules and regulations.
