One of the many amenities available at Beacon Rock State Park is its Group Campground. Built to accommodate as many as 200 people, the Group Campground is situated in a secluded and large grass meadow just off of Kueffler Rd. and across from the park’s equestrian area. Most campers will simply enjoy setting up their tents anywhere within meadow, but the camp will also accommodate a few RVs (no hook-ups however). The camps facilities include a relatively small and rustic kitchen/dining building with power, a picnic shelter, numerous picnic tables and fire grills, two vault toilets, and two Adirondack-style (three-sided) sleeping shelters (each sleeps 8). Facilities do not include showers, but guests are allowed to shower at the park’s main campground.
Note: There is a 20 person minimum to reserve the Group Campground and the fee is roughly $2.60/person/night.
