Located within Cape Disappointment State Park and nestled up against Benson Beach, Cape Disappointment Campgrounds A, B and C make up Washington's largest campground on the coast with a total of 220 sites and 11 yurts.
Just south of the park's North Head Lighthouse, Campground C is primarily reserved for car and tent campers, Campground B is a mix of yurts and tent/car sites, and Campground A is comprised predominantly of RV sites. Each of the campground's areas feature full flushing toilet restrooms, showers (which cost $0.50 for 3 minutes, so bring plenty of quarters) and potable water. The campground's 11 yurts are each 16 ft. in diameter, are heated, and have a 3-person bunk bed plus a large fold-out futon that can accommodate sleeping for two more people.
Cape Disappointment State Park is also home to Campground D, situated along the shore of O'Neil Lake (roughly a mile east by road), which in addition to more tent/car sites, also offers three cabins for rent.
Note: Campground B yurts cost $74/night from May 15 to September 15 and $64/night during the off season from September 16 to May 14.
