Located just over an hour from Seattle, Fay Bainbridge Park Campground is certainly one of the region’s most accessible campgrounds. It’s also one of the most beautifully situated and overlooks the Puget Sound and the tall peaks of the Cascades.

The campground itself is divided into two distinct areas:

  • The lower part of the campground borders Fay Bainbridge Park’s day use area and offers 26 RV sites with easy access to the park’s restroom and shower facilities ($0.25 for 1.5 minutes, so bring quarters). The 26 sites are tightly spaced with little room for setting up tents, so a small RV or trailer is perhaps ideal, though water is the only available hook-up. None of the sites provide electricity or sewer, and the campground’s general dump station is currently closed.
  • The upper portion of the campground features 10 sprawling walk-in tent sites on a well-maintained lawn, but they do not offer direct access to potable water or the park’s showers.

At only 17 acres, Fay Bainbridge Park is relatively small, so campground visitors can easily take advantage of all the park’s day use amenities.
