Gold Creek Pond is a short paved loop hike located near Snoqualmie Pass. This ADA-accessible trail around the pond begins along the creek and leads through beautiful wildflowers and willows. This loop trail is perfect for kids, and it is popular for cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter months.

Be it a hot summer afternoon or a brisk winter day, the views of the Alpine Lake Wilderness never disappoint. This pond is perfectly situated to give you the feeling of isolation and solitude as you peer into Gold Creek Valley. Those with more time and energy can venture onto Gold Creek Trail, accessible at the far end of Gold Creek Pond. The trailhead will be about 0.75 miles down the Forest Service road from the junction.

After enjoying a nice stroll around the pond, head to the picnic grounds that overlook Gold Creek Valley and Chikamin Peak. This vantage point also showcases Gold Creek Pond and makes for a very stunning background. There are numerous picnic tables and grills, though most are exposed to sun and wind.
