Located on the northeast shore of Kachess Lake, this campground is a popular spot for families. With plenty of sandy beaches, boat launches, and lakeside picnic spots, it is the perfect place to camp in the heat of summer. Enjoy the rich surroundings of sparkling water, high mountains, and a dense forest of old-growth evergreens.

The Kachess Lake Campground offers 183 standard non-electric sites and one group site that can be reserved for 20 to 50 people. Though it is one of the larger campgrounds in the area, its six separate loops make each area feel somewhat secluded and private. The lake is accessible from most loops via a network of trails that connects them, and some sites are just steps away from the water.

During your stay, hike along the lakeshore trail, or explore the lake in a canoe or paddle boat. The prime swimming and daytime picnicking area is at the south end of the campground, where you will also find stunning views of peaks to the far south.
