Located on Sand Point's Lake Washington shoreline, Magnuson Swim Beach is one of Seattle's most popular swimming holes, particularly amongst University of Washington students, and it is also locally known as being unofficially clothing optional.

During the summer months, when the lake's water's warm up to an average 67 degrees, the pebbly beach is staffed with a lifeguard. From the beach you can take advantage of Warren G. Magnuson Park's numerous picnic areas along Lake Washington, as well as picnic shelters 1 and 2. Both are available for reservation by calling 206.684.4946.

Note: Restrooms and outdoor showers are provided at the beach's Comfort Station.
