Located on the South Fork of the Skykomish River in Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, Money Creek Campground is right around the corner from numerous trailheads. Its 24 standard, non-electric sites are scattered along the river under towering old-growth trees, and it offers plenty of privacy and some sites right next to the water.

Several short trails lead from the main campground road down to the river, and a day use area provides picnic tables with a river view. There are many great day hiking options in the area, including Lake Dorothy just down Miller River Road from the campground, and Barclay Lake, which is a few miles down the highway.

The near and direct access from Highway 2 makes Money Creek Campground a convenient choice for those wishing to camp in the area without venturing miles down a rough road. Because of this convenience, the campground is very popular, so reservations are recommended for weekend trips. Keep in mind that a train track does run nearby, so the occasional train might cause noise in the middle of the night.

Note: Most sites cost $18, but some especially well-located sites are $20. The price of each is clearly labeled on posts at each site.
