Ozette Campground is situated on the north shore of Ozette Lake just inside Olympic National Park's western edge. This is a very popular campground due to it's fantastic location; stay here, and you will have no shortage of adventures to last for days. The nearby boat ramp at the ranger station ensures easy access to this beautiful lake. If you are looking for a little exercise, two great hikes leave directly from the campground: the North Sand Point Trail is 6 miles there and back, while the Ozette Triangle Loop is 9.5 miles.

The campground itself is a straightforward operation. A vault toilet is unfortunately located about 100 yards from the campground next to the ranger station, but potable water is available in the campground. There are 15 sites, each with a picnic table and a fire ring. You'll find an assortment of sites in the tall grass and way from trees and others farther into the tree cover. There are plenty of sites that can accommodate RVs, though none of the sites have hookups, and all are first-come, first-served. While this is one of the more remote areas of the national park, this campground does see a fair amount of traffic in the summer season. If you run out of options here, consider the Lost Resort + Campground just east of the park boundary, where they also happen to have an incredible beer selection at their general store.

Note: Ozette Campground is open year round.
