The strongest emotion anybody has is their sense of place. Imagine drifting to sleep in a cozy mountain setting under a fluffy down comforter and waking to morning birdsong. Guest rooms at Sleeping Lady are arranged in clusters made up of six to ten private rooms. There are six unique clusters, each named for a nearby natural feature; Cottonwood, Rock, Pond, Meadow, Fountain, and Forest. Two stand-alone cabins, the Rookery and Eyrie, offer a more private setting for special occasions. All guest rooms feature private baths and a warm, welcoming decor that reflects the mountain elegance of Sleeping Lady’s architecture.
Beyond the resort, Icicle Road continues deeper in to the canyon and accesses climbs of varied difficulty on clean, solid granite along with breathtaking hiking in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. If you can, plan ahead and apply for a permit to the Enchantments.
