Located near the northwest tip of the Olympic Peninsula, Sooes Beach on Makah Bay is a scenic location where you will encounter few crowds. The bay provides exceptional tide pools filled with starfish and anemones and an unobstructed view to the sun setting over the Pacific Ocean. Also, the bay is situated between Shi Shi Beach and Cape Flattery, making it a short drive to other spectacular natural settings.

The bay is named for the Makah Indian Tribe that lives in the area on the federally recognized Makah Indian Reservation.
