Pattison State Park has three backpack campsites which are located near the Black River. These sites are a 1.6 mile hike from the parking area. The sites are in a heavily wooded area and offer nice solitude.

Each site has a fire ring, a picnic table, and a bench. There are vault toilets nearby. Campers must carry in their own water and carry out all trash. The sites are available for camping all year round and reservations can be made for all three sites.
