Comet Falls Hike

The rainy weekend was actually a great time to head to Comet Falls as the water was really flowing. Be mindful of slick rocks when the trails are wet, but it's worth the trip in any conditions.

Did this hike over the 4th of July weekend. It was pretty crowded, but folks spread out across the trail and the views were incredible. There was still a bit of snow at Sawtooth Lake, but there was enough room to camp.

Lewis River Falls

Fall is a beautiful time to visit this area. The falls were not flowing as much as they do in the winter or spring, but the leaves make up for it. The entire drive out there was beautiful. If you take the road back to Carson instead of following the same route home, you can easily add on Falls Creek Falls or Panther Creek Falls.
