Tom Rabe

Born in Portland, Oregon in 1952. Lived in Salem until graduating from South Salem High School. Graduated from Reed College, Columbia University and University of California, Berkeley. Received PhD in Materials Science and Engineering. Returned to Salem to help run the family business, the Seven-Up Bottling Company of Salem and Albany until it sold in 1991. Then moved on to Norpac Foods, Willamette Egg Farms, Stahlbush Island Farms and Pacific Foods of Oregon where I am currently the Senior Process Engineer. Married to the lovely Susan DeLoretto for 27 years with three sons, one in heaven and a beautiful daughter of 12 years old. We live on the family farm South of Salem maintaining a robust deer population with our garden and shrubs.
