Thomas Gilbert

Gig Harbor, Washington

Just a cool 20 something looking to have adventures. I feel like I just want to live life to the fullest. I eat a lot of trail mix, Actiallythis one from Safeway called women's vitality mix. I'm very adventurous, although I do not keep a very high pace on the hike. Love cliff jumping, swimming, breathing techniques, making campfires. I hate moving too fast, the heat, paddle boarding, and annoying people.
This is the first time I have made an online profile for something that wasn't a dating years . Just kidding as it turns out I did make one for hostel world.com currently going on lots of hikes with this girl I went to high school with. She came back from graduate school and we're just kind of hanging out, yes it has been a romantic element to it over time. It shouldn't affect our demeanor if you care to be a hiking partner, although I do like to be affectionate in public it's not overwhelming and singles are definitely welcome, we can talk swapping maybe after this woman that I become a little bit more comfortable with each other. Although I have to tell you I've never participated in anything like that so I don't really know if I'm even down for it. I try to be a pretty progressive guy, but I think that would make me a little bit uncomfortable. Again we will just see.
I don't have too much snow for alpine experience, or any major backpacking experience. I have hike and camp in several major jungles in Latin America over the years.
I am fluent in Spanish, I also made it not that far in the Boy Scouts but I have a lot of outdoor skills, but mainly just an instinct for the outdoors.
I have encountered a number of wild animals in my life including a bobcat, dear, bison, elk, coyotes, and Kincaid y I have encountered a number of wild animals in my life including a bobcat, dear, bison, elk, coyotes, a kinkajou, tarantulas, river dolphins ( pink and white ) humpback whales, stingrays, grizzly bear, and many more including some pretty exotic animals.
I try not to leave a trace, funny story about that would be a bit of a cliff bar wrapper fell into a beautiful I'll Pinelake and I absolutely had no problem swimming to it.
Anyway, I like to keep these things short and sweet if you have anymore questions direct message me.
