Death Grips are a Californian hip-hop band that formed in 2010. Despite being signed to L.A. Reid, they were able to create their own sound and slew of designs. They released their debut album, The Money Store, in 2012 but were soon dropped by the record label for releasing the record without their consent. This led to a temporary break in the band's career before touring with Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden. In 2015, Death Grips regrouped and released their second album, The Powers That B, which broke into the top 10 on the Billboard Alternative Albums chart.
