Denis LeBlanc

Tampa, Florida

On the Outdoor Project, I focus on campgrounds, easy-to-moderate hikes and special destinations in our national and state parks and forests. My goal is to capture moments of beauty in photographs that express the essence of the place. I hope to encourage people to visit some of the less-well-known natural places and hidden corners of the popular parks.

Retired from the software business, I am now travelling full time in my 34-foot RV and focusing on landscape and nature photography. My wife and I love hiking, biking, kayaking and generally exploring the beautiful natural and historic places of the United States. Most recently spent most of 2015 in Colorado and Utah; the plan for 2016 is to spend much of it in Oregon--summer in the Cascades and fall along the coast.

About Us

We believe good things come from people spending time outside. It’s about more than standing on the mountain top. It’s about nourishment and learning. It’s about protecting what sustains us. It’s about building relationships with the outdoors and each other.
