Can anyone offer up the best sites? This looks like open terrain, on the coast, potentially exposed to wind. Any details on that appreciated.

Came here for the 2017 eclipse. It was incredible.
The ATV trails were shut down due to fires in area, some are still burning in Sept 2017.
The recommended sites in the 10-20 range have the best water access. The west side of the lake is very shallow, although fine for wading and paddleboarding out to deeper spots.
