Michael Bosworth

Lake Oswego, Oregon

I love the west, having moved to Oregon in 1976. Skiing, golfing and motorcycle touring have taken me to see many of its natural wonders. Past 70, I am now more enjoying such activities as hiking and fishing, as well. Portland remains my city of choice, but with children in California, I am spending more time there, trying to learn surfing and exploring the Sierra with my son, Outdoor Project Founder Aron Bosworth.

About Us

We believe good things come from people spending time outside. It’s about more than standing on the mountain top. It’s about nourishment and learning. It’s about protecting what sustains us. It’s about building relationships with the outdoors and each other.
