We had an amazing visit to Waldo Lake the last week of September. Daytime temps were 75-80 and nighttime lows 45-50 with hardly any wind. We frequent Waldo often, but have never been this late in the year. The Fall colors along the shore were spectacular! I didn't want to come home.

Good place to explore an isolated section of beach and the New River . Kayak, beachcomb, and watch the wind surfers on Floras Lake. Expect wind, especially in the afternoon and even all day during Summer.
