The Bountiful Lake Loop is an easy flat trail tracing the perimeter of the small Bountiful Lake.

The pond sits between the highway and the Great Salt Lake and is a popular spot for dog walkers and those looking to fish the pond's waters. The trail itself is mostly paved, with several gravel sections, along a flat route nestled along the brush. Waterside benches dot the path, providing spots to take in the views of the Wasatch range. A couple small steel bridges as well as a couple floating docks are popular amongst the fishing crowd.

The tall brush along the path creates a popular background for photographers who are often out along the trail. In addition to the trail, there are several park features around the lake, including picnic benches and grills, interpretive signs, and a vault toilet located at the small paved parking area.

The Bountiful Lake Loop is perfect for those looking for an easy flat walk in a scenic area.

Hours are dawn to dusk. There is no charge to park in the parking area.
