Courthouse Rock Campground is located a short distance off Highway 191, between Moab and Interstate 70. This area is of historical significance and served as a reliable campsite for Old Spanish Trail traders offering feed, water and protection. Native Americans and other groups including the Elk Mountain Mission of 1855 traveled through and camped here.

There are several nearby attractions including hiking, biking and 4x4 roads. Another unique attraction is just a short stroll from the campground - the Mill Canyon Dinosaur Trackways. Here you can see preserved dinosaur tracks.

The campground itself offers 10 campsites. They are open with no privacy between campers. At each site you’ll find a picnic table and fire ring. There is also a vault toilet.

There are also two equestrian campsites, with horse corrals and trailer parking. These two sites must be reserved in advance. All other campsites are first come, first served. Click here for reservations: https://www.recreation.gov/camping/campgrounds/10216489
