The Fallen Peace Officer Trail area is one of the places near Moab that offers free dispersed camping for up to 14 days. Other nearby areas (Willow Springs Road, Dalton Wells Road) have been incorporated into the new Utahraptor State Park and now change a $15 fee per night for camping.

Campsites near the Fallen Peace Officer Trail Trailhead are very bare bones and what you’d expect for a free dispersed campsite.

There are no amenities here. Please have a toilet or way to pack out your waste.

There are already campsites established, many with a small fire ring. Please don’t make any new campsites.

Please observe the 14 day camping limit, be respectful of the land and others campers, and enjoy!
