The trailhead is less than a mile from the Burr Trail Switchback intersection.  There is parking across the road from the trailhead.  The trail is marked with a wood sign and cuts across the desert.  Great views of Waterpocket Fold as you travel toward the canyon.

The is a narrow slot early on in the canyon which is very nice but short lived.  Soon the canyon opens back up with a lot of vegetation on the canyo floor.  At the end of this trail is a steep ramp and small drop off.  Most people turn back here.  It is possible to climb up further.  The return may be a little difficult.  Not recommended for a solo traveler past this point.  This canyon sees very little traffic so if assistance is needed, you could be in for a long wait.
