Lions Park is conveniently situated at the junction of Highway 191 and 128 near Moab, Utah. It’s amenities and location along the banks of the Colorado River makes it a popular stop for anyone passing through.

The park offers a large open grassy area to recreate or relax, as well as picnic areas including a large covered picnic shelter. There are restrooms with flushing toilets and running water as well.

A small bouldering area is popular with both kids and serious climbers alike. Miles of paved biking and hiking pathways can also be accessed from here.

But the highlight of the park is the Colorado River. A pedestrian bridge leads from the park across the river and offers stunning views. From here you can walk across the river and all the way to Arches National Park, or enjoy a nearer attraction like the Courthouse Wash Rock Art Panel.
