Whiting Campground is located up Maple Canyon, just a short drive from Mapleton, Utah. The peaceful campground is tucked within a dense grove of maple and cottonwood trees, making it a lovely shady area on hot summer days. A small stream flows through the campground, and visitors can find easy access to miles of great hiking and biking nearby.

The campground features a few different site options including standard single sites, double sites, and group sites. At each campsite you’ll find a picnic table and fire ring. Parking pads are all paved. There are also equestrian sites with hitching racks available.

The two group sites can accommodate large gatherings, with site A holding up to 200 people, and site B up to 100 people.

Within the campground you’ll find drinking water and vault toilets.

Reservations can be made in advance by visiting recreation.gov.
