In advance of next year’s National Park Service Centennial, the Park Service and the National Park Foundation kicked off a nationwide campaign to encourage people to learn about and connect with the 407 national parks. The Find Your Park campaign aims to reintroduce the national parks and the work of the National Park Service to a new generation of Americans, inviting them to visit and get involved.

As part of this program, all fourth grade students and their families will get free admission to national parks during the 2015-2016 school year. Visit FindYourPark.com to hear stories, discover parks, and learn more about this two-year initiative.

If you are located on the west coast, here are a few national parks and recreation areas for you to start exploring.
