Keenes Horse Camp is located in the High Lakes region of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. The Mount Adams Wilderness is literally just across the road from the campground. The surrounding area offers an abundance of trails to ride, including the Keenes Trail, High Lakes Trail, and Muddy Meadows Trail.

Keenes Horse Camp sits among a high elevation stand of lodgepole pine and mixed conifers. There are 13 total campsites. At each campsite you’ll find a picnic table and fire ring. There are 26 hi-line posts, one mounting ram and two manure bins throughout the campground. Water for stock is available, but there is no potable drinking water (bring your own). Vault toilets are also available.

Campsites are first come, first served with no reservations possible.

Keenes Horse Camp is typical open Late July through Mid September.
