The Mount Moran Turnout is a scenic viewpoint located off Teton Park Road in Grand Teton National Park. This location offers unobstructed views of Mount Moran and much of the middle of the Teton range. Mount Moran is one of the most recognizable peaks in the Tetons. The peak is named after the famous landscape painter Thomas Moran.

A unique feature of Mount Moran is a vein (or dike) of black diabase that slices vertically across the east face of Mount Moran. This dike was formed almost a billion years ago when molten magma squeezed into cracks in the existing bedrock. Over the years, erosion stripped away the surrounding rock allowing the dike to protrude. Mount Moran also has a number of glaciers near its peak that are visible from this location.

There are no amenities at this viewpoint. The Teton Park Road closed from November to the end of April. Since the Mount Moran Turnout is located within Teton National Park an entrance fee is required.
