The development of a neighboring field has led to signs marking the park boundaries and asking hikers to remain within park grounds rather than following former trailbeds.

Some trails stick to the lower elevation of the hill along a creek and pond, while others trace the slope up the hill, being so steep as to require steps being built into the ground in places.
