Cenote Hubiku lies in the center of a touristy commercial development that is a popular stop for tour busses returning from Ek Balam Archaeological Site. Lying about 18 kilometers north of the city of Valladolid, Hubiku also includes a buffet, a tequila museum (which is really just a place for tequila sampling), gift shops, and all of the amenities of a shopping center built to lure in travelers and tourists.

The cenote is large and clean, with lifeguards on staff and lockers and life jackets available. The cenote pool remains at a constant 20 degrees Celsius with a maximum depth of 27 meters, making it an occasional stop for divers as well.

Sunlight streams in through a large opening in the ceiling, and during the right hours of the day the water flows an eye-catching blue. At times, an artificial waterfall is turned on, and water streams down from the ceiling opening.

Cenote Hubiku is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is MX$100 per person.
