The Cathedrals are located in the northern section of Capitol Reef National Park.  Access to the trailhead is from Caineville Wash Road, part of the Catherdal Loop drive.  If coming in using Hartnet Road, a 4X4 vehicle is recommended and must cross the Fremont River.

Parking is along Caineville Wash Road. The trail starts across the road.  There is a wood sign marking the trail and starts uphill for a short distance to a view point and first view of the Cathedrals from the trail.  The trail traverses the side of the Cathedrals from a ridge.  There is excellent 360 degree views along the entire trail.

The trail is mostly flat with a short uphell section at the end to a fibnal view point.  Return along the same trail back to the trailhead.
