The Marilyn Lakes Trail takes hikers on a short walk to Upper and Lower Marilyn Lakes. Located off Gold Lake Road (NF 500) and just a short drive from Willamette Pass, the trails are easily accessible but surprisingly little trafficked.

You can begin from the trailhead east of Upper Marilyn Lake, or from the trailhead by the Gold Lake Campground.

The trail can be a little overgrown in areas, but is easy to follow. You’ll walk alongside the shore of Upper Marilyn Lake, having a fantastic view toward Diamond Peak at one point.

Continuing past the lake you’ll come to a junction. You can turn here to visit the second, lower lake.

Once you’ve enjoyed the lakes you can continue to the far trailhead, or turn around and backtrack the way you initially came.
