Moore Park is a lovely park located alongside Upper Klamath Lake. There are many amenities within the park including tennis courts, disc golf, and boat ramps for those looking to get out on the water. There is also an abidance of hiking and mountain biking trails here.

One easy hike that provides stellar views is the Nature Trail. This loop is just over a mile long.

Begin from the near the tennis courts. Find the start of the trail (its signed) and follow it as it ascends slightly uphill. A good view of Upper Klamath Lake awaits as you skirt around a small hillside.

Continue along, passing through some Ponderosa Pines and Junipers until you reach a paved road. This is the end of the Nature Trail, you’ll now follow the road to the left and down, back to the parking area.

As you descend you’ll come to a viewing area with a bench. The views of Upper Klamath Lake from here are incredible!

Continue along the paved road until you reach the parking lot where you began.
