My biologist wife Carol and I live on the Deschutes River, with creation at the front door beckoning. Currently a Professor at Northwest Christian University & a rural pastor, my doctorate was in developing the art of Enter-Active exploration of ancient and modern stories and places. 13 trips to Israel are mirrored by 13 trips at all seasons to Yellowstone. The goal is not merely to be spectators of great stories & places, but to enter them actively as participants, whether that is ascending Jubal Musa in the Sinai, or sauntering through the Lamar Valley of Yellowstone.
