Hi, I’m Brittany Tran.
Once upon a time, I was a 20-something-year-old living in Houston, Texas, splitting most of my time between Texas and Southern California. During that period, I noticed the ethos of most Americans were of people living in their own bubble, and I didn’t want that to be my reality; I have always had an affinity to explore the world and live abroad. There was a wanderlust urge that needed satiating, yes, but I ultimately knew the importance of gaining wisdom and experience which only traveling could offer. I set out to explore and since then, my globetrotting adventures have taken me to Malaysia, Thailand, China, and South Korea; and I have also made Vietnam and Australia my home for certain durations of time.
Professionally, I spent my life abroad acquiring experience as a television commercial producer, learning and becoming proficient in broadcasting, production, and post-production. Some of my more notable accomplishments were: being a part of the production team which developed Myanmar’s first Coca-Cola commercial, producing the very first live broadcast show in Vietnam, and working along various eminent brands and organizations (P&G, The Rockefeller Foundation, and Vietnam Airlines).
My true takeaway was learning my niche within marketing. I developed a penchant for “connecting the dots” as it pertains to market strategizing, thus improving the efficiency by which a company communicates with their consumer audience. My unique experiences have cultivated a keen eye for compelling marketing and have been the building blocks which reinforce my talents in helping people and their businesses.
I have always carried my Texan charm and friendliness proudly and it has served me well both personally and professionally. When I’m not working, my role shifts to being the mother (a very cool one) of a precocious four-year-old daughter named Scout (yes, her namesake is from the Harper Lee novel) and caring for my family. This strong family foundation--and the consistent pursuit of my personal hobbies in writing and photography--have been the catalyst for my happiness. I have recently had my writing and photography published by reputable companies and this has been such a rewarding experience for me. The more time I get to spend with loved ones and being outdoors, the more I feel fulfilled and happy. As a result, I believe this balance purports a successful business and personal life.
