I was born on the coldest day in Chicago history (no joke) and after roughly 25 years of dealing with frigid winters, scorching summers, and generally flat, boring, and uninspiring terrain to play on/in, I decided to move to Steamboat Springs. I'm now in Denver and working on becoming a better mountain biker (but I heard you dont get better, just faster), just got my first splitboard, and planning to spend as many days as possible sleeping in my truck.
It's also a huge uphill battle, but I've attended the last two Surf Park Summits and one day I hope to open a surf park in Colorado. Think about it... the perfect Colorado spring day is now the 4x9: 9 runs at A-Basin, 9 holes of golf, 9 innings at Coors, and wrap it up with 9 perfect waves at sunset.
