Tucked away at the northeast end of Lake Crescent near a secluded bay, the Log Cabin Resort is a great option for accommodation that gets a little less attention than its peers along Highway 101. This resort was first constructed as a hotel in 1895, but a fire destroyed the building in 1932. The resort in its current manifestation was rebuilt in the 1950s, so it has unfortunately lost the historic charm in comparison to Lake Crescent Lodge, but has a more local, casual, hometown feel while still providing guests with a variety of comforts and conveniences.

You'll have a variety of accommodations to choose from here: the Lakeside Chalets and Lodge Rooms each private bathrooms, mini-fridges, and great views; the Camper Cabins are rustic one-room structures that accommodate four people and do not have indoor plumbing; and the Rustic Kitchenette Cabins and Rustic Sleeping Cabins were built in the 1920s, have private bathrooms, and are maintained to provide an authentic period experience.

The lodge has a deli and a restaurant, a general store, and there is a washer and dryer for longer stays. You can rent rowboats and kayaks from the lodge to explore the lake, and at this end of the lake you'll be close to the east end of the Olympic Discovery Trail and the Pyramid Mountain hike.

Note that the Log Cabin Resort and campground are closed seasonally, generally from the end of September through mid-May. Call 888.717.0733 for details.
