Located within Westcott Beach State Park, this campground features 154 campsites with great access to one of Lake Ontario’s scenic beaches. Many of the sites feature electric hookups and most of the facilities are ADA accessible. There are also several sports fields, a boat launch, two large playgrounds, and 2.5 miles of hiking trails. Westcott Beach State Park is open from mid-May to early September.
Most sites are located in the main park area on the eastern shore of Lake Ontario. All are close to the lake, but sites 110 through 129 are actually on the beach. Restrooms, showers, and water fill-up stations are dispersed throughout the campground. A large group camp area is located near site 38. Additional sites can be found on the east side of the park on top of a bluff. These sites, as well as over 35 others, feature electric hookups. The sites are mostly level and grassy.
At the south end of the park visitors will find baseball fields, soccer fields, and basketball courts. The swimming beach is also located here with many of the other day use facilities. Horseshoes and a volleyball court are located closer to the main camping area. There is a large playground located in the main camping area, as well as one in the main picnic area to the south. The boat launch can be found near the middle of the park.
Sites range from $18 to $28 per night, depending on whether they include electric hookups or not. They are reservable up to nine months in advance, and reservations must be made at least one day ahead of arrival.
