The View Loop is a shorter loop along the Hidden Palms and Pushwalla Palms trails within the Coachella Valley Preserve.

Beginning from the Pushwalla Palms Parking Area, the trail crosses a wash before climbing up a ridge and heading across a well-marked hard packed gravel path. Views of the cities to the south open up behind bare desert hills in the near distance. While all preserve maps show the longer Hidden Palms and Pushwalla Palms trails, the view loop is a shorter hike made by combining sections of each of those trails. Being that there is no shade at all along the hike, visitors during the warmer seasons may opt for this shorter hike, and hikers will find themselves amongst larger crowds.

The trail heads to a viewpoint overlooking the Pushwalla Palms oases before paralleling back atop a high ridge with views across the badlands like landscape of the preserve.

There are no amenities of any kind located at the trailhead or along the trail. There are no fees required to visit the Preserve, however the Pushwalla Palms Parking Area is smaller and can fill up quickly during peak times.
