Lying adjacent to the Arikok National Park Visitors Center, Hofi Shon Shoco is like a small botanical garden of native plants and fruiting trees laid out along a cement walking path.

It's possible to cross the parking lot from the Visitors Center and enter the wooden gate to enter the cement paths. The paths follow a shady course beneath the dense plants and trees, with plenty of small benches and sitting areas.

At the top of the Hofi Shon Shoco area are covered tables, which are used on educational tours of the gardens. Though the majority of the time, these trails and benches are peaceful, and provide a good area to sit and watch for the birds that visit the garden to eat from the fruit trees.

In all, Hofi Shon Shoco is a peaceful spot, and easy to visit with children located right next to the park Visitor Center. Bathrooms and water are located inside the Visitor Center building.

Hofi Shon Shoco is a part of the national park, and is subject to park entry fees and open hours.
