Grayback Campground is a seasonally-open campground located inside Siskiyou National Forest that has an appealing array of amenities. Grayback is a Forest Service-managed campground that has a spacious day-use area, an interpretive trail that parallels the campground and can be taken to nearby Grayback Swimming Hole located a half-mile away, and access into Sucker Creek, which is shallow and wide enough for safe wading.

The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis. With 39 total campsites, the campground is spacious and shady, and generally it is not full, allowing for a good amount of space and privacy between neighbors.

Older portions of the campground and day-use area were constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps. The shelters, amphitheater, and fireplace from the CCC still remain. Each site has a fire pit, grill, and a table. Massive trees cover the campground in a tall shady canopy. Potable water is located at spigots located sporadically throughout the campground. Vault toilets serve the campground.

Grayback Campground has a $15/night fee with an additional $5 for extra vehicles, payable at a self-pay station at the campground entrace. No reservations are accepted. The campground serves as a day-use area between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily. Grayback Campground is one of the closest campgrounds to Oregon Caves National Monument.
