You are here
The Lost Resort at Ozette Lake is located near the lake's northern end just outside of the very western edge of Olympic National Park, and it can be a great resource for accommodation if you are exploring this phenomenal stretch of Washington's coast. You'll find 30 tent sites distributed over 10 acres, so there is plenty of room for site selection, and each site includes a fire pit and a picnic table. Three cabins are available for reservation, each with electricity, heaters, and including linens (be sure to bring your own blankets or a sleeping bag for warmth). Note that there are no pets allowed in the campsites or in the cabins.
In terms of amenities, in addition to a restroom and shower facility you'll find a general store with a robust selection of beers, and a deli that is open from May 15 through September 15 with a modest menu that covers the basics for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The resort's proximity to Ozette Lake means there will be no shortage of activities in the area. To access the lake head southeast to Swan Bay which provides the lake's broadest and most accessible boat ramp. Nearby hiking trails include the 6-mile round-trip North Sand Point Trail, the longer 9.5-mile Cape Alva Triangle Loop Trail, both of which leave from Ozette Campground, and the 4-mile round-trip South Sand Point Trial that leaves from just south of Ericson's Bay but is accessible by watercraft only.
