This out and back hike starts from the South Church Fork trailhead.  Parking is along Mill Creek Canyon Road.  Follow the Church Fork Picnic road for less than .5 miles.  There is several picnic tables along Church Fork stream. The picnic road is paved but steep.  The trail leaves a turn around point where the picnic road ends and climbs up a little further to the Pipeline Trail.

Turn left and follow the trail for 3 miles.  Along the way there is good views south toward Mount Raymond and also up the valley in the opposite direction traveling at the beginning.  The trail is relatively flat and can be crowded in the mornings and weekends.  It is also popular for mountain biking.

At Pipeline Point, there is good views of Salt Lake City.  To keep the hike at 7 miles, turn back the way you came at this point.  The trail continues on going north as the Bonneville Shoreline Trail - Grandeur Peak Section.
