Anvil Campground is one of 3 designated camping areas located alongside Mineral Creek, just off Highway 550 and not far from the charming small town of Silverton. Anvil is not a traditional campground, but rather a space where dispersed camping is allowed. Note that this is a popular area and can fill up quickly during the summer months.

There are a variety of campsites available at Anvil, including a few spots alongside the lovely creek. You won’t find much privacy between camps unfortunately.

Campsites at Anvil are best suited for those with smaller trailers or vans/car/tent campers. Turnaround space is tight for anyone with large rigs (nearby Kendall Campground will better suit you).

Being a dispersed camping area all campsites are, of course, first come first served. Please observe the 14 day stay limit.

There are no amenities available at Anvil Campground.

Again, keep in mind that this is a popular area. Arriving before evening ensures a better chance of securing a campsite.
