This Loop hike starts in Stephens State Park at the day use area along the Musconetcong River.  However most of the loop is within the boundry of Allamuchy State Park.

From the Stephens Day Use Area, follow the red trail along the Musconetcong River keeping the river on your left.  This is a wide easy section of trail and offers great views of the river. Follow this section for .5 miles until a junction with a red/white trail.  Turn left here and continue another .5 miles until the start of the white trail.

The white trail is an easy hike through the forest and doesn't offer any views.  The white trail is 6.8 miles long and will loop back to end on an Orange marked trail.  Turn left on this orange trail and follow for .7 miles where the trail ends at the parking lot for the day use area.
