Brown's Millpond Campground

Brown's Millpond Campround is a 72-site campground located just 6 miles from downtown Bishop, at the edge of Millpond Recreation Area.

The campground occupies a scenic spot on the valley floor nestled between the peaks of the Eastern Sierra range and the White Mountains. The camp is run by Browns Campgrounds, who have several other camp sites in the area. The result of which may be one of the most well-maintained campgrounds in the area, with amenities and facilities that are cleaned and checked on multiple times per day.

Each site has the option of full hook up for trailers and RVs, or just parking a car and pitching your tent. A small creek runs right down the center of the campground, with each site having access to the water. Sites also have picnic tables, grills and fire pits, all on a grassy stretch beneath the canopy of trees.

Coin laundry facilities are also available on site. One central bathroom building has flush toilets and showers.

The Millpond Recreation Area which is located adjacent to the campground and an easy walk has an abundance of options, such as a pond suitable for swimming, picnic and archery grounds, a playground, and a concession stand that is open when sports leagues or events are taking place.
