Truckee River Regional Park is located just east and across the river from historic downtown Truckee, California. The park offers a variety of recreational opportunities, including access to the Truckee River Legacy Trail - a 6 mile paved bike path along the Truckee River.

The 62 acre park features ball fields, picnic areas with tables and even BBQs (a nice large area by the river can be reserved), volleyball and basketball courts, tennis, a disc golf course, skateboard park, amphitheater, ice rink, playground and even a rodeo arena. A short nature trail also runs throughout the park, and connects with the longer Truckee River Legacy Trail. The park is also home to a farmer’s market and occasional concerts and events during the summer months.

Of course the beautiful Truckee River can be accessed from the park and makes a great place to relax, dip your toes in the water, or try your hand at fishing.
